A perfect gift! Join chocolatier, Stephen Beaumont at 6:00 pm for an evening of fun and creativity as he guides you through the process of making Swiss chocolate bonbons at the Chok Studio in Shakespeare, Ontario.

Working in pairs, you will learn how to temper coloured cocoa butter, the medium we use for decorating the bonbon moulds. Then you will create your very own designs before casting the moulds with a thin shell of tempered chocolate.

We will make two delicious bonbon fillings, a caramel and a ganache, to pipe into the chocolate shells, and then seal the fillings with another thin layer of chocolate. Finally you will tap out the bonbons to reveal your very own edible art to pack into boxes to take home.

The bonbon-making process usually takes several days as each step has to cool and crystallize, but in this workshop, Stephen will prepare moulds for each step of the process so that you will be able to experience the entire sequence from beginning to end. You will leave with 12 finished bonbons and then return a few days later to pick up the bonbons that you decorated (which Stephen will fill and cap for you after the workshop).

The workshop lasts 2.5 hours.
